Routine maintenance refers to all cleaning and lubrication operations carried out periodically on the machine as well as the replacement of worn components.

Why maintain a glass grinding machine

Routine maintenance is important to preserve the machine's good working condition and to prevent and reduce any more important interventions by a specialised technician.
Even in case of extraordinary intervention, a clean machine drastically reduces the specialist's working time and therefore minimises downtime.

How often to carry out routine maintenance

The frequency depends on the part being serviced: if it is recommended weekly for tanks, it can be carried out every two or three weeks in the case of polishing spindles.
