The straight edger processes one side at a time, while the double edger processes 2 opposite sides at a time – it halves times and guarantees the squaring. Schiatti produces both: AR/RI and FPS series (straight edgers), BFT e BFP series (double edgers).

Depends on the thickness and dimensions of the glass, production volume, requested type and quality of the edge, available space and automation level. Schiatti configures every machine on these parameters — from the standard model to the complete line, manageable from one single operator.

From 2 to 55 mm, according to the series. FPS-50 series arrives up to 55 mm, double edgers model BFP 35 up to 35 mm.

They automatize the load and unload of the glass sheets on edgers or drills. They synchronize their speed with the machine’s speed and allow the operator to manage more lines. Models: CVB35, CVB55, CVB150.

Yes. Schiatti integrates CVB loaders, double edgers, Turnover units and unloaders to process the four sides of the glass without manual intervention.

It realizes an inclined edge (bevel) on the perimeter of the glass, creating a decorative effect with light refraction. Schiatti manufactures straight bevelers (BS series) for thicknesses from 3 to 20 mm.

They process the glass from both sides in one cycle, reducing chipping and accelerating the drilling. Schiatti produces FPD series for thicknesses from 2 to 28 mm.

The round edge has a rounded and polished edge, suitable for mirrors and shelves. The flat edge is perpendicular to the surface, with blunt 45° arrisses, used for windows and architectural applications.
